DANCING AFTER COVID AND STILL FEELING MOTIVATED

We all know that this pandemic has been long enough and for performing arts was a struggle not just for our pockets, but also for our motivation on a daily basis. I am bless to dance for Les ballets Trockadero de Montecarlo and even tho i knew my job was coming back... it was still extremely hard to keep myself motivated to take class every day and even just see a purpose of conitnuing my training.

Now that time has pass and we somehow back with a new "normal" it definetly doesn't feel the same. But, we are gonna focus on the positive; the pandemic was hard but tought me amazing things. First of all that I am just lucky to be alive, that the body is smart and taking it slow my technique actually got even better because I'm happy just to dance. but the most important thing is to actually dance every day like is the last one because unfortunatelly... you never know.

I want to inspire any reader to keep fighting and working hard for there dreams because in a long run is extremely worth it.

Coming back to rehearsals was definetly shocking but it was so amazing, I finally saw some people i haven't seen since march of 2020, rehearse some new roles coming up for our Joyce Theatre season happening this December in New York (look for my touring dates on the home page) and got to experience the life after covid and its new regulations.. yes it was a bit weird to walk around the building with a mask on but thankfully for the first time we could dance without a mask in the studio. They took our temperature at the door and we got tested once a week which it was both stressful but helpful to keep us all safe.

To finish this MY FIRST POST.. I just wanna say thank you to everybody that follows and support this new project. and stay tunes to follow my crazy journey around the world.. dancing, working but having a lot of fun.

xoxo Kevin Garcia.
